Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

The short version: TinyResize does not upload, store, or process your images on any server. All image resizing happens in your browser. We do not require accounts, and we collect minimal analytics data. That's the short version — the details are below.

Image processing

All image resizing is performed client-side using the browser's built-in Canvas API. No image data is transmitted via fetch, XMLHttpRequest, WebSocket, or any other network request.

No image data is stored in cookies, localStorage, or any persistent storage. Images exist only in browser memory during your session and are discarded when you close the tab, refresh the page, or select a different image.

We have no access to your images at any point. Your image goes from your device to your screen to your download folder — the internet is never involved in the resize process.

Analytics and tracking

TinyResize uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service, to measure basic page views and traffic patterns. This collects anonymised, aggregated data such as page URLs, referrer, country, and device type. No personally identifiable information is collected.

TinyResize does not use tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics is designed to operate without cookies and without cross-site tracking.

Advertising

TinyResize does not currently display advertisements. If advertising is introduced in the future, this page will be updated with the specific ad networks in use, their data practices, and links to their privacy policies. If those services require consent, a consent mechanism will be added at the same time.

Third-party services

  • Hosting (Vercel): The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel's infrastructure may log standard server access data such as IP addresses and request headers.
  • Fonts (Google Fonts): Typography is loaded from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google may receive your IP address when fonts are loaded.
  • Analytics (Vercel Analytics): Anonymised page view data is sent to Vercel. No cookies are set, no personal data is collected.

TinyResize does not load social embeds, ad network scripts, remarketing pixels, or external image processing services.

Data retention

TinyResize does not collect or store personal data. No accounts are created. No files are uploaded. There is nothing to retain or delete.

Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised by Vercel. No individual user data is stored by TinyResize.

Children's privacy

TinyResize does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The site does not require accounts, does not collect personal information, and does not use tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site evolves. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. No prior notice is required for changes, as TinyResize does not collect contact information to notify users.
